Fountain of Youth Discovered in Asia !!!
Fountain of Youth Discovered in Asia !!!
"More than three million Chinese drink their own urine in the belief it is good for their health, according to the official Xinhua news agency." "In Roman times, there was a tradition among the Gauls to use urine to whiten teeth." "In Hinduism a religious Sanskrit text called the Damar Tantra contains 107 stanzas on the benefits of one's own urine." "In China, the urine of young boys has been regarded as a curative. In southern China, babies' faces are washed with the urine of other young boys as a skin protectant. The French customarily soaked stockings in urine and wrapped them around their necks in order to cure strep throat. Aristocratic French women in the 17th century reportedly bathed in urine to beautify their skin. In Sierra Madre, Mexico, farmers prepare poultices for broken bones by having a child urinate into a bowl of powdered charred corn. The mixture is made into a paste and applied to the skin. "

US-China Asia-Pacific Leadership Crisis
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com The idea of establishing a US-led Free Trade Area in the Asia-Pacific region, was further advanced during the recent APEC summit held in Hawaii. In respective talks between US President Barack Obama and leaders of Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and Russia, over the controversial and divergent matters, the main focus was on China's RMB exchange rate, the Iranian nuclear issue, and the South China Sea disputes, all heated issues facing the Asia-Pacific nations. On November 12, nine Asian countries signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). The agreement initially covered only Chile, New Zealand, Brunei, and Singapore. Later, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Peru, and Vietnam joined in. Japan also expressed interest to join, but still faces domestic resistance, especially from its Agricultural Minister. The CCP authorities did not receive a TPP membership invitation. In order to compete with the TPP, the Beijing regime has strengthened the development of the ASEAN free trade zone, and accelerated its efforts to form a 10 +3 East Asian Free Trade Area, which would include China, Japan, and South Korea. Meanwhile, the CCP mouthpiece, Xinhua News Agency, alleged that the United States expanded the TPP with an aim of promoting its dominance in the Asia-Pacific region. Hong Kong's Apple Daily commentator, Willy Lam, said in his article that the wrestling match between China and the US is ...

Hundreds killed in Southeast Asia floods
Hundreds killed in Southeast Asia floods
Authorities battle floodwaters threatening Bangkok as forecasters warn of more monsoon rains in the region. Nearly 400 people have died in Cambodia and Thailand as a result of what Southeast Asian officials are describing as the worst monsoon flooding in decades. By Wednesday, after several weeks of heavy rain, at least 224 people had been confirmed killed in Thailand and another 167 were found dead in Cambodia. Keo Vy, spokesman for Cambodia's National Committee for Disaster Management, said that this year's flooding had already exceeded the human and economic toll exacted by the flood season in 2000, which was considered severe. In a statement to the Xinhua news agency, Vy said the flooding that began in August had now affected the lives of more than 200000 families in the nation of 14 million. He said that the flooding of the Mekong River, the region's vital waterway, has inundated an estimated 291000 hectares of rice paddy, 200km of national roads and up to another 2019km of gravel roads throughout Cambodia. Heritage threatened In neighbouring Thailand, two months of flooding have inundated 58 of 77 provinces - with 25 still severely affected - and damaged the homes or livelihoods of millions of people, according to the government. "It's the worst flooding yet in terms of the amount of water and people affected," said an official at Thailand's disaster prevention and mitigation department who asked not to be named. Since monsoon rains first led to flooding in July ...

China's Press Freedom Continues to Deteriorate
China's Press Freedom Continues to Deteriorate
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com In China, live reporting of emergencies is often blocked by authorities. Thursday, Foreign Correspondents Club of China issued a report, which showed that the international news reporting situation in China is deteriorating. The annual report incorporated 108 survey responses from its 225 news agency members. According to the report, 94% of responses believe the situation is deteriorating. An email of Foreign Correspondents Club of China says 70% of survey responses state that over the past year, their work has been subjected to harassment or even physical interference. Mr. Wei, a Spanish reporter, told NTDTV there has always been government harassment of reporters. It wasn't because of the recent slew of emergencies. The difference is now the CCP is not as polite and is telling foreign reporters directly what they can and cannot do in China. Mr. Wei: I have been in China 9 years. I have been threatened by police. I have been taken to the police station. I have been harassed by ruffians and triads. I have been followed even by multiple cars. This is not new, it has always happened. Freelance writer Zan Aizong, former reporter and news editor, says that government with rule of law, a civil society, must protect freedom of the press and human rights. He said that only rule by law could protect people's basic rights and universal values. Zan Aizong (former reporter of China Ocean News): "I believe many ...
